Visual Arts Coordinator
Louie Leiva is an HOLA alumni, who has periodically worked in this community since his graduation from UC Berkeley, where he studied Sociology and Portuguese. He most recently completed his Master’s degree in Urban Design and Planning at the University of Washington’s College of Built Environments. He is a transportation planner by training but has personal and professional interests in art in public spaces.
He had the pleasure of working with Visual Arts Director, Nara, a few years ago through a position he held with the City of LA. Now, he is excited to return to HOLA in efforts to cultivate a partnership where he can continue to support talented young artists and instructors from the neighborhood.
