Scientific Arts Program and IT Director
Abraham holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Video from the University of California, San Diego. He was involved in many community projects in San Diego, including Hope in the City, where he helped low-income, migrant youth creatively voice their struggles as immigrants in the United States through self-made films, before moving back to Los Angeles to pursue a career in digital media and provide access to technology and arts for youth. He has been at HOLA for 13 years, during which time he has formalized the Scientific Arts Program and been an active advocate for integrating STEAM into all aspects of education. He was a 2016 panelist at the Education Writers Association's STEAM and Beyond: Strengthening the Skills of Students and Journalists conference, and a co-presenter at the 2018 SXSW EDU.
