Grants Manager and Development Officer
Cristina holds a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from Grinnell College, where she conducted fieldwork in poverty and cultural identity in London and on Lakota Sioux reservations in South Dakota, and Master of Arts in anthropology and gender studies from Brandeis University, where she further developed her passion for supporting underserved and disenfranchised communities. Prior to coming to HOLA in 2012, she worked for a variety of arts organizations including the Time In Children's Arts Initiative, ABC No Rio, the New York Museum of Modern Art and the Iowa Arts Fest. She has over eight years of development experience. She also volunteers as a fund director for Grinnell College and a college access coach at New Village Girls Academy.
