The annual Holiday Party for Kids was another highlight of "A Season of Giving". Kids from The Boys and Girls Club of the West San Gabriel Valley, the Asian Youth Center, and Heart of Los Angeles were invited to Toyota Sports Center for an afternoon of food, carnival games, and presents. The Lakers, D-Fenders, and Laker Girls joined the kids in the holiday festivities. They signed autographs, posed for pictures, and even challenged the kids to the many games. Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant played the special role of Santa, sitting for pictures with all kids in attendance. A while later, all players and Laker Girls got a chance to feel like Santa, as they passed out Lakers gift bags to all the kids who attended.
