HOLA Art Students Exhibit at Stanford University
The group of HOLA art students known as "La Banda de Los Siete" have returned from Stanford University where their paintings, prints and drawings are being exhibited. The exhibit and the trip were both a resounding success. The students were hosted by Stanford's El Centro Chicano and stayed in Casa Zapata Dorm. Much thanks goes to Stanford Professor Ken Fields and Nora Cain, Director of the Stanford Health Library, who organized the trip and housed the adults. Theirs and all the faculty and students warmth and generosity was amazing. We are so proud of the seven students.
La Banda is pleased to welcome its new member and artist of the month, Jonathon Romero. It is now La Banda de Los Ocho.
