Ana Baranda Receives Full Scholarship to Penland School of Crafts
HOLA Alumnus and teaching assistant, Ana Baranda, will be returning to Penland School of Crafts this summer on her second full scholarship. Ana first attended Penland in 2008 through the generous support of Cathy and Alan Adelman, who have sent an HOLA student to the east coast school for several years. This year, Ana applied to Penland for one of 20 full-ride scholarships offered and was chosen among hundreds of applicants. Currently, Ana is a student at Santa Monica College and hopes to attend the Rhode Island School of Design in the Fall of 2010. Congratulations again Ana!
