HOLA's Art Students Tour Artist John Nava's Studio in Ojai
Saturday, September 26th, HOLA's Saturday Art Club took a trip to Ojai, CA to have lunch with renowned artist, John Nava and to visit his studio. John, his wife Jessica, and son Michael were great hosts. John gave the students a tour of his studio and showed them his preliminary studies for a tapestry he is currently working on for University of Southern California. John also gave the students a preview of his upcoming exhibit of beach landscapes, which will exhibit at Sullivan-Goss Gallery in Santa Barbara. After the tour, the group enjoyed lunch and a tour of John's son Michael's studio in a barn a few miles away. It was a rare opportunity for HOLA's young artists and a wonderful afternoon!
